Job Duties
1. Conceptualizing creative ideas with clients.
2. Testing and improving the design of the website.
3. Establishing design guidelines, standards, and best practices.
4. Maintaining the appearance of websites by enforcing content standards.
5. Designing visual imagery for websites and ensuring that they are in line with branding for clients.
6. Working with different content management systems.
7. Communicating design ideas using user flows, process flows, site maps and wireframes.
8. Incorporating functionalities and features into websites.
9. Designing sample pages including colors and fonts.
10. Preparing design plans and presenting the website structure.
11. Writing well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices
12. Creating website layout/user interfaces by using standard HTML/CSS practices
13. Integrating data from various back-end services and databases
Education Requirement
1. A bachelor's degree, usually in computer science, communications or business or completion of a college program in computer science, graphic arts, Web design or business is required.
2. Experience as a computer programmer or graphic designer is usually required.
