Job Duties
1. Ensure entire safety of all employees working in manufacturing department.
2. Supervise production planning, instrument manufacturing, purchasing and shipping departments.
3. Lead and motivate all subordinates to fulfill schedules, improve control costs and quality.
4. Train, coach and supervise employees to attain optimum performance considering every employee.
5. Ensure to promote atmosphere allowing them to use best of their skills.
6. Employ, interview, monitor and conduct disciplinary methods for all subordinates.
7. Perform with teams and supply chain management to ensure stable stream of inventory without any exces.
8. Conduct routine audits of equipments and schedules.
9. Design, prepare and record test and manufacturing methods to ensure high quality and efficiency.
10. Comply with entire Q/A manual to assure shipping of exclusive high quality products.
11. Write and present employee performance reviews along with recommend financial increases.
12. Involve in development plus administration of rewards program apt for high achievers.
13. Maintain feasible schedules of entire product teams and expedite material as needed.
14. Maintain and present training to subordinates on every manufacturing procedure, processes and equipment.
15. Design and change facilities and production line along with assist function areas regularly to reduce space and waste.
16. Plan, determine the optimal utilization of manufacturing workers and equipment to meet manufacturing goals.
17. Determine if new manufacturing machines, methods are needed.
18. Ensure that manufacturing stays on schedule and within budget.
19. Coordinate manufacturing with Sales, Marketing, Procurement, and other departments, as well as with vendors and shippers.
20. Help ensure that customer, statutory, standards, and internal requirements are met or exceeded.
21. Hire, train, and evaluate manufacturing workers; monitor workers to ensure they meet performance and safety requirements.
22. Analyze manufacturing data and identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement; identify and utilize methods of making the manufacturing process more efficient and effective (reducing waste, using lean).
23. Write manufacturing reports and present to top management.
24. Direct corrections (corrective action) of any manufacturing problems that may arise; work with Quality Manager in the development and implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
