Job Duties

1.      Planning, developing and implementing PR strategies

2.      Managing enquiries from media, individuals and other organisations

3.      Researching, writing and distributing press releases to targeted media

4.      Planning publicity strategies and campaigns

5.      Organising events including press conferences, exhibitions, open days and press tours

6.      Managing and sharing content with users on social media sites such as Twitter and Facebook

7.      Managing the PR aspect of a potential crisis situation

8.      Creating and managing brochures, handouts, direct mail leaflets, promotional videos, photographs, etc

9.      Analysing media coverage

10.  Distributing information about new promotional opportunities and current PR campaigns progress

11.  Speaking publicly at interviews, press conferences and presentations Develop their organization’s or client’s corporate image and identity

12.  Identify audiences and determine the best way to reach them

13.  Designate an appropriate spokesperson or information source for media inquiries

14.  Help clients communicate effectively with the public

15.  Write press releases and prepare information for the media

16.  Assist and inform an organization’s executives and spokespeople

17.  Devise advertising and promotion programs

18.  Assign, supervise, and review the activities of staff

19.  Plan, implement and manage public relations programs 

20.  Plan and budget for PR events, programs and initiatives 

21.  Help in designing and reviewing a variety of promotional and marketing materials 

22.  Design and review the online content in media announcements and media kits

23.  Monitor corporate image frequently and ensure it is in compliance with company brand

24.  Check and manage content produced for website and social media channels

25.   Develop and implement PR policies and procedures
